INTRODUCTION
When in operation, diesel generator sets typically produce noise levels ranging from 95 to 110 dB(A). According to China’s GB3096-2008 environmental noise standards, nighttime noise in urban areas should not exceed 55 dB(A). The noise generated by conventional generator operation not only exceeds regulatory limits but also causes significant disturbance to the surrounding environment, making effective noise control essential.
Medical research further indicates that prolonged exposure to high noise levels can lead to serious hearing damage in humans. Given the frequent use of generator sets in densely populated or sensitive settings such as urban residential areas, factories, public squares, construction sites, and mining operations, super-silent generator sets have become indispensable equipment
A super-silent generator set consists of a standard power unit integrated with a comprehensive noise reduction system, including a soundproof enclosure, an intake noise suppression device, and an exhaust silencing assembly. The soundproof enclosure is lined with specialized sound-absorbing and damping materials to block and absorb airborne noise. Both intake and exhaust pathways are engineered with noise-reducing designs—such as labyrinth channels—to minimize sound transmission. The exhaust system is typically equipped with a combination of industrial-grade and residential-grade mufflers, effectively attenuating noise across both high- and low-frequency bands.
Built upon the foundation of standard silent generators, super-silent units implement more stringent noise suppression measures, ensuring compliance with stricter environmental and occupational health requirements. These systems are widely deployed in both indoor and outdoor applications where environmental protection and noise reduction are critical, such as in hospitals, schools, hotels, residential communities, and eco-sensitive areas.
TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE
- Noise Control
By comprehensively managing exhaust noise, mechanical and combustion noise, cooling fan and air channel noise, and intake noise generated during operation, overall noise levels can be effectively controlled within the range of 60–75 dB(A).
- Super-silent gensets up to 15 kVA: minimum noise level of 60 dB(A) measured at 1 meter.
- Super-silent gensets between 15–30 kVA: minimum noise level of 62 dB(A) measured at 1 meter.
- Super-silent gensets between 30–50 kVA: minimum noise level of 65 dB(A) measured at 1 meter.
- Operating Voltage
- 50 Hz models: 380–440 V
- 60 Hz models: 190–240 V or 380–480 V
CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS
- The super-silent generator canopy can be customized to meet specific user requirements, including considerations for space constraints, transportation, ease of installation, and protection against dust, rain, and snow.
- The base frame (including the integrated fuel tank) can be tailored to actual operational needs, with options such as a large-capacity fuel tank supporting up to 500 hours of continuous operation. Customizable features also include forklift pockets, lifting lugs, lifting beams, and other accessories designed to simplify installation and relocation.
- The air intake and exhaust system and their flow paths can be designed according to the actual application environment and user specifications.
- A fully customizable remote monitoring and operating system is available to meet specific operational and control requirements.
OUR ADVANTAGES
- HZ generators are powered by world-renowned engines, including Perkins (UK), Cummins (USA), and MTU (Germany).
- They are also paired with premium alternators, such as Stamford (UK), Marathon (USA), and Meccalte (Italy).
- Each generator is equipped with a Deepsea controller from the UK, ensuring advanced and reliable operation.
- Our latest design features an elegant, high-end European aesthetic, providing both style and performance.
- The canopy surface is finished with durable powder coating, which provides rust, corrosion, and fade resistance. All external screws are stainless steel, ensuring lasting cleanliness, aesthetics, and structural integrity even after prolonged use.
- The canopy incorporates a deep-bucket design with high-quality flame-retardant and sound-absorbing sponge to reduce noise levels. Air is drawn from the top to prevent dust intake from the ground, maintaining cleaner internal components and extending the generator's service life.
- A dedicated controller box allows for monitoring and starting the generator without opening the main access door, ensuring low noise output and user safety. The electrical layout complies with national standards and is neatly organized, with all cables clearly labeled for easy identification and maintenance. Micro circuit breakers are used in place of fuses to simplify troubleshooting and improve reliability.
- A hanging rod is provided as a standard feature at the top of the unit for convenient installation and relocation.
- For models below 100 kVA, forklift grooves are also included as standard, enhancing mobility during handling.
- Super-silent models feature four doors—double doors on both sides—providing ample operating space and facilitating easy access for inspection and maintenance.
- A lock is installed on the control panel to prevent unauthorized operation, and the fuel inlet is positioned inside the canopy for added safety.
- Each generator is equipped with an underframe fuel tank capable of supporting up to 8 hours of continuous operation.
- An emergency stop button is located centrally on the front pillar for quick shutdown in case of an emergency.
- Maintenance-free, high-quality batteries are provided along with a battery isolation switch to prevent leakage.
- Copper radiators are used for superior heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions.
- The canopy is available in multiple color options, including yellow, white, blue, and red.
- An optional European-style heat shield is available to lower surface temperatures and enhance safety.
- An automatic transfer switch (ATS) can be supplied upon request to enable seamless backup power switching and continuous electricity supply.
